Successful launch of the Proton-M launch vehicle with the Nauka multipurpose laboratory module

July 21, 2021 at 20 hours 58 minutes 25 seconds in time of Nur-Sultan from the launch area No.39 of Site No.200 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the Proton-M launch vehicle with the Nauka multipurpose laboratory module (MLM) was successfully launched.

The launch took place in normal mode. The separating parts of the first stage of the launch vehicle landed within the Yu-24 zone (impact areas No.15 and 25), located in the Ulytau district of the Karaganda region.

By the specialists of the RSE “SRC “Garysh-Ekologiya” the ecological support work for the launch in the positional area of ​the Baikonur cosmodrome were performed. The instrumental measurements of atmospheric air during space rocket fueling and soil sampling after launch were taken.

In the impact area by the specialists of the RSE “SRC “Garysh-Ekologiya” the environmental survey of the fall sites of the separating parts of the first stage of the launch vehicle with sampling of environmental objects and instrumental measurements of atmospheric air are began.
